IW-131 wood dining chair is designed since 1859 by Michael Thonet. It owns the classical and royal outlook. The elegant bentwood classic is a masterpiece in its construction and production: the projecting frame that forms the backrest. Due to its aesthetic reduction in combination with the organic form, it almost looks like a sculpture.
Open back or with backrest, seat and backrest with cane work or covered with leather or fabric. Seat also avaiable as moulded plywood seat. All wooden parts in stained beech. Also available in Pure Materials versions. The concept of bending wood with steam to design the iconic bentwood chair. So it is very popular for the wedding and event.
